Get to know this incredible girl boss, a full-time corporate moonlighting as an entrepreneur, who builds a brand that garners worldwide success.

Have you always wanted to be an entrepreneur?

Absolutely! I’ve always wanted to create something from scratch. Growing up, I’ve always lacked confidence with my breasts as I did not know how to wear nice tops, dresses or swimsuits without a bra. I was determined to find a solution for women who share the same problem.

What are the biggest challenges of starting your own brand?

The constant fear of self-doubt and failure. It never goes away. Even on a really good day, your mind plays games with you and makes you question the silliest things! A piece of advice for anyone who wants to start a business. You’ll never know how far you’ll go until you take that first leap of faith and do it.

Proudest moments with YOOBTAPE?

It was when YOOBTAPE was used at the Emmy’s, VMAs, Grammy’s, Oscars 2020, Met Gala and red carpets by celebrities and their stylists. It is so rewarding to see women all around the world use YOOBTAPE and they genuinely love the product.

How would you describe your style?

Simple and comfortable. My most-loved items in my wardrobe are my sheer underwire bra (I hate wearing bras with padding!), white tee, and pair of jeans.

Your favorite female-owned brand(s) at the moment.

My all time favorite and still at the moment, Spanx by Sara Blakley.

What defines a modern woman in 2021?

Someone who is confident in her own skin, unapologetically raw and her true authentic self.

Who’s your Chika?

I am inspired by women that I meet every day. Everyone has a unique story to share and they are all strong and independent in their own special way.
